- New: Recalled food products: Blue River Sheep's Milk Ice-cream Vanilla
Blue River Dairy is initiating a recall of their Milk Maid’s Vanilla Sheep Milk Ice-cream after discovering that the product had been incorrectly labelled. The label states that the product is Allergy Tolerant, Lactose & Dairy Friendly. This could be interpreted as meaning the product is lactose and dairy free which it is not.

Frucor Beverages are initiating a recall of their New Zealand Natural 1.5L Water with Best Before dates between 24 & 30 October 2013 (inclusive) as a precautionary measure following a consumer complaint identifying algal growth in a bottle.

A.E. Preston Ltd are initiating a further recall of Bay Cuisine Ezi Carve (plain packed) boneless leg ham pieces and whole hams and Ratanui half hams after being informed that these Bay Cuisine products may be contaminated with Listeria.

Salami and Pepperoni product identification was originally listed as having a 'best before' expiry date. New information indicates that both those products carry a 'use by' expiry date, not a best before date.

Moa Brewing Company is recalling Weka Apple Cider and Weka Pear Cider after discovering that the product has been incorrectly labelled. The label did not state the "Contains Sulphites" declaration. All Weka Apple Cider and Weka Pear Cider products should not be consumed by people allergic to sulphites.
